Octopath Traveler, the highly anticipated Square Enix title for the Nintendo Switch, releases today. And to celebrate the launch, Nintendo has organized a special event in Los Angeles.

Taking place in the iconic iam8bit Studio, those who attended the event were able to enjoy a gallery of concept art, a musical selection from the game's soundtrack, and even got to participate in hands-on activities relating to the adventure RPG.

The game places the player into eight different roles, each one will special skills and abilities. Players can engage in a vibrant world, fighting in turn-based battles.

Octopath Traveler is available now for the Nintendo Switch. Players can also get the Wayfarer's Edition, which includes the game, a sound selection CD, double sided cloth map, a replica coin of the in-game currency, and an eight-page pop up book. For more information, visit the Octopath Traveller webpage.
