Nintendo has announced the next expansion to the Nintendo Labo line: Vehicles.

When the Nintendo Labo launched, it was praised for being a quirky and creative take on bringing newfound interactivity to the Nintendo Switch. Though with any gimmick, there wasn't that much to do with them. The concept was kept fresh by the Labo Creators Contest. But now, Nintendo themselves are back with the next Labo pack.

Known as the Vehicle Kit, the cardboard constructions available are all around operating particular modes of transportation. Namely, a car, a plane, and a submarine. You even have a "key" you can plug into the various vehicles.

Of course, this also comes with an appropriate game. As the player explores a larger world, they can dynamically switch between vehicle forms. Alternatively, you can engage in cooperative play. Just give your partner one of the other vehicle controls.

The Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit will be available on September 14 for $69.99, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Personally, I look forward to seeing the car kit get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Support.
