According to Clifton Hill, this track will be opening during the spring of this year, once the weather clears up. Reports are saying that everything is on track for release (pun intended). An inside source has also stated to check back in March, closer to the release of the project.
This track takes on a more fantastical approach to the potential of go-karts. Usually firmly on the ground, with perhaps a bridge or two, this level of dimension is extremely uncommon in the activity. Consisting of a four-story corkscrew and hardcore downhill ramps, this is the closest real life might get to a Mario Kart level.
"Niagara Speedway is a marriage of traditional go-karts with the added fun and excitement of an elevated coaster-style track." - The official websites description.
The project is backed by HOCO Ltd, a privately-held tourism company. They chose the location due to its tourism potential. No word on pricing, but we expect there will be waivers to sign, as well as age restrictions.
