Next Battlefront DLC Announced

Star Wars Battlefront! The game that shall forever be known for having a kick-ass demo and nothing else, has released thus-far one of its promised four DLC packs for season pass holders: The Outer Rim. And it's been met with audible, almost deafening indifference by the gaming community at large.

But if there's one thing EA enjoys, it's indifference. Given the amount of vitriol they've endured, some good old fashioned indifference is just what the doctor ordered. And now it's time to renew their prescription, because over on the Battlefront website EA just announced their next DLC, to be set in the wondrous Cloud City: Bespin!

You’ll see AT-ATs in Cloud City, take to the skies in Fighter Squadron, and even spend time in a carbonite chamber. Of course, we’re also adding more blasters and Star Cards, a new game mode, and two new iconic characters we’re really excited about – Lando Calrissian and the cold-blooded bounty hunter, Dengar.

...And if you were looking forward to more details, hate to leave you disappointed but there are none. That's it, and the fact that this DLC will be out in a few months. So soon, but not... immediately soon.

But still, carbonite chambers. People love those: they're pretty cool.
