New Titanfall 2 Trailers Shows Off Titans

And how they fall, fairly enough.

Titanfall 2, the sequel to a forgotten-after-hype extravaganza, has been gaining a lot of the traction and attention that the first game had garnished in the few weeks since its announcement, although it seems more tempered with caution this time around. Perhaps that's because people still remember the first game as the non-starter that it was, perhaps it's because attention has been stolen away by No Man's Sky and its particular hype controversy, or perhaps it's simply because, so far, the trailers and info haven't blown anyone out of the water yet.

To try to remedy that last problem, EA and Respawn have now released a new trailer that introduces six new titans that will be appearing in the game's multiplayer.

  • Tone: Tone is about accurately laying waste to enemies both efficiently - and explosively.
  • Northstar: Northstar is a master of both flight and precision kills.
  • Legion: Legion utilizes an assortment of ballistic abilities focusing on defense and control.
  • Ronin: Ronin loves getting up close with its samurai vibe, and quick to get in and out tactics.
  • Ion: Ion uses it's energy management abilities to divert power between its three weapons systems.
  • Scorch: Scorch manipulates fire as its primary source of defensive and offensive abilities.
That's neat, I suppose. The video hasn't been getting much attention or overwhelming positive response so far, but heck, at least it's not as bad as Modern Warfare, so Respawn can be pretty happy with that. Regardless, which of these titans look the best to you? Any favorites so far? Or are you going to do that thing where you wait to play each one to figure out which one you prefer?

Pfft. I thought so. Nerd.
