Everyone's favorite blue hedgehog is making his way to the Kickstarter campaign page. Shinobi 7 LLC has announced that they will be accepting funding for a new Sonic board game. The board game, dubbed Sonic the Hedgehog: Battle Racers, is a strategic board game designed for between two and five players. Each player will have a choice to play as Sonic or his any one of his friends, who are painted miniatures. The board game itself is littered with obstacles to stop you from getting to the finish.

While playing, you can choose different routes as well as sabotage other racers during your fight to victory. The players control their speed and collect coins on the way in an effort to be the true Sonic champion. One of the cooler features of this game is that, each time you play, you can reorient the race track so that no two games are the same. As with many Kickstarter campaigns, limited edition items and special exclusives will be offered for backers who give more money. To check out the Kickstarter page and become a backer, click here.
