While Nintendo did devote most of its time to The Legend of Zelda, they gave a little love to their other games as well. Most importantly, they actually kicked things off with a new look at their upcoming Pokemon game, Sun and Moon. Check out the trailer:

So, new monsters, new gameplay, new battles... looks like a fairly typical Pokemon title, that's for sure. Too bad the new Pocket Monsters look a bit... not as cool as the starters, but hey: wouldn't be Pokemon without a few rattatas. Otherwise, it looks like a standard Pokemon trailer, which is a shame, because making exciting, engaging trailers was always kind of the big weakness of the Pokemon franchise. I'm sorry, but it's true. There are a million ways to make Pokemon look exciting and this just isn't it.

That said, free for all looks interesting. I'm only surprised they didn't do it sooner.

Oh well. We'll get our hands on free-for-all, and more, come November 18th.
