Battleborn has just released a brand new game mode to their multiplayer playlist. In the mode, called Supercharge, two teams of three faceoff against one another in various challenges. This new addition is basically a combination of Meltdown and Capture. Teams must escort minions to areas of the map to score points and you must capture and hold locations to win.

The main difference is that this mode is played in a 3v3 setting and by capturing locations on the map, your minions get stronger, making it much more difficult for your enemies to wrack up points. Along with the addition of the game mode, three new maps have been added as well. They are Ziggurat, Permafrost, and Horizon.

These maps were designed specifically for the 3v3 competitive play and allow for closer coordination between heroes. There are also Supercharge challenges that will award players more titles, credits, and experience for completing them. You can get a free trial of the game that allows you to use all of their multiplayer features for however long you would like, however there is a limit on character choice. Aside from that, the game is all yours!
