Blizzcon was this weekend, in case ya'll missed the hype, which means we got a whole slew of Blizzard-related news... so yes, more happened than just the reveal of Sombra, trust me. In fact, there was a little something for everyone: they had stuff for World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm... even Diablo 3 got some love! But one of the more exciting announcements came from ol' Hearthstone, Blizzard's #1 (and only, to be fair) digital TCG based on Warcraft.
And since they recently released a new single-player challenge, that can only mean one thing: it's time for a new expansion. Let me introduce you to: The Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.
Is it just me, or are these songs getting progressively worse the more Blizzard makes them? I mean the first expansion's sing-along introduction was darn catchy, but this one just kind of seems phoned in. Not that I'd ever complain about musical numbers, of course, I wish more developers had songs in their trailers, but still...
Anyway, there's not much to see here, as of yet, but 31 of the new cards in this expansion pack have been revealed online, and you can check them out here. I'm sure Blizzard will reveal more as time churns on: hopefully, this will be the expansion that finally makes the Priest useful again.
Which would be ironic. Considering.
