With the latest release of popular Japanese magazine, V-Jump, new information about Dragon Ball FighterZ has been discovered. Gotenks, Kid Buu, and Adult Gohan will be playable fighters in the upcoming fighting game.
Gotenks, a fusion between Trunks and Goten, will have a special attack called Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball. Piccolo can be seen in the magazine assisting him in this attack, but that role will change depending on who you choose as a partner when playing.
Adult Gohan can use his "ultimate potential" by consuming the entirety of the Ki Guage. The more Ki there is consumed, the more powerful this move is. His special move is Ultimate Kamehameha.
Not much special is said about Kid Buu, except that his special attack is called "Planet Burst."
The pages reveal more than just characters. They have confirmed a shop where players can purchase new color variations and titles for their characters by spending the Zeni earned in battle. There is also an Arcade Mode, where players compete in a set number of battles, the directions of which will be determined by your success.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26 in the US and Europe, and February 1 in Japan. You can view a scan of the magazine page below.
