New Fallout 4 Live Action Ad is Super Neat

That's right, being super neat alone makes it worth an article.

Writing an article about an advertisement is just about as lame as it can get for a journalist, because you already play the role of advertiser and putting a video of an ad into what’s already kind of an ad doubles-down on your sad, sad role as media whore for a giant company that could afford to get their work projected against the moon, if they wanted.

But then this is so freaking cool how could I not want to share it?!

What makes this advertisement neat, of course, isn’t the fact that it’s for Fallout 4, strictly--it’s the fact that it’s a live action Fallout 4 ad that plays Dion's The Wanderer while we watch a guy and his dog travel the wasteland, meet robots, and shoot at mutants who are very bad at shooting back.

It seems, between this minute-long ad and the animated Vault-Tech tutorials, Bethesda is putting a lot of time and attention into videos for this game--here’s hoping that affection for movin’ pictures doesn’t leak into the game proper, eh?
