If you have ever played PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, I'm sure that you've noticed that there isn't a very large cosmetic pool right now. You basically stockpile money for pioneer crates, which double in price after every purchase, and you usually just get something extremely basic. Well, thanks to some datamining, we now know that there are roughly 50 new customization items that have been found.
Now, we don't know how many of these items will be implemented into PUBG just yet, but we do know what they're currently working on. In addition to standard items, like shirts and pants, there are also a few backpack skins that have been discovered. This would, most likely, follow the H1Z1: King of the Kill method of equipping the skin when the backpack is picked up. That way, players can clearly tell the level of the backpack based on its appearance before being obtained.
These skins and items don't have a release date yet, and we don't even know how many are going to make it into the game, but I hope they add some stuff in soon. I'm just wondering if these are going to be in pioneer crates, or if I should be saving my money for a new loot box.
