With key members of the Uncharted team over at Naughty Dog leaving to work at other companies over the past month or so, development for Uncharted 4 was starting to look uncertain. Showing that you can't keep a retired fortune-hunter down for long, Sony is assuring us that the game will release in 2015.
Now titled Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and now being developed by members of The Last of Us team... it certainly looks pretty. What is shown in the trailer seems to be all real time footage, so it appears they aren't trying to pull any smoke and mirrors on us. Without any strong first party exclusive titles for this holiday season, I'm sure it is an "all hands on deck" situation to get this game out of the door as fast as they can.
