Not only is E3 the most exciting time of the year for gaming enthusiasts around the world, but thanks to N4G, it's also an opportunity to put your investigative skills to the test and potentially earn some money. N4G is hosting a prediction contest for E3 2017, in which you can win up to $250 per category with the possible chance of earning up to $1000 if you're a real industry expert.

Categories: Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and EA.

The goal of this contest is to predict certain things happening during each of the events. What type of things? Here's the list:
  • 5 points: Predict a new IP in a specific genre (racing, sport, fps, action, fighter, etc.) announcement
  • 5 points: Predict new hardware announcement
  • 3 points: Predict a sequel to an existing IP
  • 3 points: Predict live gameplay of a specific game (or new IP) on stage
  • 3 points: Predict the release date of a newly announced game
  • 2 points: Predict a new trailer for a game
  • 2 point: Predict a new service/feature announcement
  • 1 point: Predict the release date of a previously announced game or hardware without a release date (month/year required only)
  • 1 point: Predict the updated release date of a previously announced game or hardware that had a release date (month/year required only)
  • 5 points: Predict a previously unmentioned famous or notable industry person's appearance on stage
  • 1 point: Predict that Ubisoft will have people dancing at some point
  • 3 points: Predict that anyone else will have people dancing at some point
