Multiplayer Stardew Valley is "About a Month" Away, Says Developer

People have been asking for a multiplayer update to Stardew Valley for a long time. Excitement grew when publisher Chucklefish stated that the update giving just that had entered the QA phase.

Now the hype train has made another round, when Eric "Concerned Ape" Barone released a tweet claiming the update to be approximately one month away:

"Update on Stardew Valley multiplayer: still making good progress on fixing bugs, if all goes well it should be ready in about a month"


Modders have already implemented their own multiplayer mode at this point, but it takes a bit of effort to get it working. Now we grow ever closer to smooth, integrated gameplay with friends.
