Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is Borderlands 3's First DLC

Grab your procedurally generated guns, Miss Moxxie has another job for you. Introducing Borderlands 3's first DLC: Moxxis Heist of the Handsome Jackpot.

In the long-titled expansion, the vault hunters are sent to infiltrate the casino landscape of Handsome Jackpot, a large scale casino resort run by Borderlands 2 antagonist Handsome Jack. Here, they will encounter security guards, crazed gamblers, and other appropriately silly enemies. Players will discover troves of Eridium and "all-new legendary loot," including new heads, skins, emotes, weapon trinkets, and guns.



In the trailer, we see a small group of unique characters, presumed to be the aforementioned crew working for Moxxie, This includes a man with a mullet, a fire-wielding person, and two robots (one with a mustache and another with a hair bow).

The Handsome Jackpot expansion will release on December 19. It'll be available to players as soon as they can access Sanctuary 3. Both enemies and loot will scale to the player's level. The DLC is also part of the $49.99 season pass as well as the $99.99 collector's edition. The buy-alone price was not listed.
