In case you're unaware, Monster Hunter XX is a Japanese exclusive title. For the moment at least since no North American release date has been confirmed. Monster Hunter XX launches in Japan for the Nintendo Switch on August 25th.

Now for the good news. Capcom just announced that they will be pushing out a demo prior to the launch on August 10th. I'm sure you're wondering: But it's still a Japanese exclusive, how is this good news? Hold your horses. It just so happens that this demo will be region-free.

Although Monster Hunter XX will only be launching in Japan, this is your opportunity to try it out for free. One simply has to create a Japanese account on the Nintendo eShop, and you can give it a whirl, no matter where you're located in the world. Mark your calendars, you won't want to miss your window of opportunity.
