With Monster Hunter: World having released this weekend, people can't stop talking about it. To further stoke this fire, Capcom has announced a Street Fighter crossover.

Coming in the spring will be a series of quests for Monster Hunter: World that will reward players with "SFV Tickets." These tickets can be used to craft costumes that make your player look like either Ryu or Sakura, from Street Fighter fame.

As for when this is happening, it depends. Players who are on PS4 that also have save data for Street Fighter V will be able to access Ryu's questline (called "Down the Dark, Muddy Path") earlier than everyone else.

There will also be a Shoryuken & Hadoken pose available for free, while the animation gesture for it will be a microtransaction of $3.99.

For those new to the Monster Hunter series of games, what may seem like a weird crossover is actually fairly common. In past games, there have been armors, weapons, and palico sets themed off of such popular IPs like Sonic, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, and Hello Kitty. This game alone has Horizon: Zero Dawn crossover content, and will be receiving Mega Man outfits for your palico later this year.

The only way this could be better was if you didn't have to use a weapon, and could just punch the giant monsters to death.
