Are you sick of how your character looks? Or perhaps you regret the options you've made. Maybe you no longer wish for your character to look like Frieza. Perhaps the created you've created doesn't exactly translate well into the actual scene. All of these statements are completely valid when the argument of "why isn't there a full character editor" appears in Monster Hunter: World. Sure, you can create your character, but afterwards, you're limited to few options. You can't change the base model, just the hairstyle, facepaint, etc. Well, it seems as if Capcom will implement a "do-over" options of sorts.
According to Monster Hunter: World Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto at Taipei Game Show 2018 in an interview with Game Watch (via Gematsu):
"You can't redo it, but when making a character you can check their expressions, so you might want to do that first while making a character. However, if there's enough demand for it then I'll put it under consideration."
He has provided a tip, however, with creating your character to look well in the Monster Hunter: World atmosphere. As you create your character, you should play with the lighting to be able to have some idea as to what your character will look like in-game.
