Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was just released on September 19, and we're already hearing about some upcoming DLC fighters that will be making their mark on the game. Six confirmed fighters have been revealed in the 2017 Character Pass for the game, and Monster Hunter is one of them. Joining the fight with deadly weaponry crafted from teeth, scales, and bones, she will be unleashing some brutal combos on the battlefield.

Monster Hunter is able to take advantage of all of her crafted weapons. A sword can be used for certain combos, while a bow and arrow can be used for others. She can even drop an explosive barrel at the end of one combo to deal massive amounts of damage. After dropping her foes to the dirt, she closes out the fight by saying, "Quest complete. Now let's return to camp." I wonder if she will be able to collect bits and pieces from the other fighters in order to craft stronger weapons for herself. Maybe if she kills Iron Man enough she will be able to craft her own laser cannon.

With all of the hype currently surrounding Monster Hunter: World, this doesn't come as a surprise to me at all. You can take a look at her reveal trailer for the game down below, but don't go looking just yet. As I said, there are a total of six fighters being released as DLC for the game, and Monster Hunter is only one. The other five include Sigma, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Venom, and Black Widow.

You can pick up Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite right now for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
