We all thought Grand Theft Auto V looked pretty slick when it first released on the PC earlier this year. Some couldn't help but wonder how much farther could the aesthetic go? A lot farther, according to a modder. Reddit's 'Toddyftw' is currently designing a mod that takes GTA V's appearance to a new, realistic level.

Judging from the few screenshots that have been released, the mod is incredibly impressive. However, storms appear in every one of the shots, so it'd be good to see some sunny, realistic shots here and there. Note that these screenshots are captured in "High" in the graphics options, not "Very High" or "Ultra." So imagine those two settings!

However, I can't help but feel that the hand in the screenshots needs work. The lighting is also a little dark, even during what appears to be the day time, but other than these two issues, the mod is well on its way. Looking forward to it! Let's just hope the release date isn't a year from now.
