So, if you haven’t noticed, Ronda Rousey is a pretty popular lady. Even if you don’t pay much attention to that sport she do (MMA--that stands for Matching Macarena Activities, right?) geeks and nerds around the world know her as the super-strong, super-buff, super-nerdy woman who could kick their butt both in real battle and Pokemon ones. Maybe. I mean I have no evidence she’s actually very good at Pokemon but for the sake of this article… bah.

Regardless, she’s well known for her nerdish tendencies. But as it turns out, in addition to being strong and nerdy, she’s also pretty cute, and she’s been used in a lot of films and movies as minor characters, such as in Fast and Furious 7 and The Expendables 3 and such. So, how long do you think it’ll be before people try to combine her talent for acting, her love of geekdom, and the fact that she’s an attractive blond woman?

Probably not long.

But when asked by GameSpot what her ideal role would be in this hypothetical future title, she made no secret about her dreams, as… well… unrealistic as they may be.

“I've always wanted to be Samus. That would be badass. I love how people found out later that it was a hot chick on the inside. And then most of the day you're in a suit, so you can just hang out and eat donuts and be the star of Metroid. I hope they make a movie out of that.”

A Metroid movie, when we can barely get a proper Metroid game? Seems like a stretch. that said, Nintendo has been exploring brave new worlds when it comes to its IP as of late, so… maybe it’s not too much to expect? She seems like she’d be a good pick for the role, considering how physical it would be (and how little talking she does)... so who knows?

It’s an exciting idea to say the least.
