Recently as in yesterday something exciting happened in the world of gaming. The Major League Gaming Columbus arena opened. This is the first MLG arena in the United States. The arena is 14,000 square feet which isn't huge but not small either considering this is a huge step in the evolution of gaming. It will be the host of many worldwide gaming competitions in the next few years until more arenas are built.

This arena is a state of the art gaming environment. There are sound proof booths for individual gamers and teams to converse while not hearing the other teams, video screens (pretty much jumbo trons) for spectators to view from the bleachers which hold hundreds, and even a warm up area for the gamers.

The first event to be held in this arena started yesterday. It is the Call of Duty Ghosts Pro League Season 3 playoffs featuring the best gaming teams including Most Wanted, FaZe, Optic Gaming, and many more. This event has a prizes that add up to 75K with a first place prize of 30K. If you are interested in the world of MLG feel free to go here and view the latest events that will be held in the Columbus Arena.
