Somebody has to come up with game ideas for that controller...

While Nintendo's E3 presentation was more than enough to win over the hearts of gamers yesterday, it was odd that Shigeru Miyamoto only popped up to tease some games (with Star Fox obviously playing behind him on a blurred out screen). The moment might have had a little more impact if it were not for TIME magazine accidentally leaking these Miyamoto games an hour before the video streamed.

In Project Giant Robot you use the tilt feature of the Nintendo GamePad to swing lumbering giant robots into motion. If you're expecting something like Pacific Rim... the game actually has more of the vibe of giant toy robots.

In Project Guard you are in control of a prison in outer space and you have to cycle between 12 security cameras to fend off invaders and do other various tasks. It's kind of like Watch_Dogs... in a way that it's totally nothing like Watch_Dogs.

Last, but not least, is Star Fox. This game isn't open for the public to play, so Miyamoto doesn't cover it in the video. This is the internet though, so of course journalists that have already played the game have detailed it. There's currently three gameplay modes- Arwing, which is the classic open dogfight mode- Vs Wolf, where you do a 1-on-1 dogfight against Wolf O'Donnell- and City, where you fly a helicopter over a city and use the GamePad to look below you. Other details include that Arwings can transform into Landmaster mode, and the game was originally planned to be on the Wii.

Star Fox might be a standalone title, but I have a feeling Project Guard and Project Giant Robot will be part of some kind of mini-game collection similar to Nintendo World or Wii Sports
