Minecon has been the go-to convention for Minecraft fans since 2010. It has been extremely successful every year and fans have always had a good time. Mojang has decided to switch things up this year and will instead be hosting a free live show online for everybody to see. Instead of fighting for a ticket, everybody will be able to get in on the action!

The show will be 90 minutes of Minecraft, including a costume contest. You can submit your costume to Mojang beforehand so they can include your picture or video in Minecon Earth on November 18. For those of you who are interested in merchandise, you don't have to worry. During the live event, sales will be happening online. You can order them from your house, have them delivered, and won't have to wait in a line for two hours.

Check out Mojang's announcement video for the event down below and don't forget to mark your calendars on November 18 for Minecon Earth!
