Microsoft has been slashing the price of its Xbox One quite frequently over the past few months... by frequent, I mean the Xbox One has decreased from $299 to $279 within just a few weeks. Now, apparently the price of the Xbox One S will be $299, so it would make sense that the original would be cut. Bundles that come with a 500GB HDD will be $279, such as the Xbox One with Kinect and the Xbox One Name Your Game Bundle, which lets you choose between Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, and Rare Replay.

Just how much more will the pricing of the original drop though? My guess? $250 before the holidays. That said, it makes you wonder if there will be a price cut when the PS4K/Neo/Whatever releases sometime. So do you plan on purchasing the original Xbox One or do you plan on spending the extra $20 and just snag a slim? Which probably won't include any games, but it's slimmer and more energy efficient so it probably would pay for itself in the long run when you're considering energy costs.
