Well, Microsoft has recently taken the app Win64e10 off the Xbox One Store. I did a short piece about this a few days ago, and we all knew it wouldn't last for too long before Microsoft took it away from us. The app allowed users to play classic N64 games on their Xbox One console. While there are plenty of emulators available online for the pc, they haven't been available on consoles. As soon as they come out for a console, they get taken right away. I completely understand this, as it goes against the Windows Store Policies, but it would be pretty cool to play Mario Kart 64 on my Xbox One.

If you were one of the players who downloaded the app before it got taken off, there's good news and bad news for you. The good news is that you can continue to use the app. It's not available in the store, but if you already own it, it's yours. Unfortunately, the app will not be receiving any updates or patches. Whatever problems are there right now will be there forever. If you feel the need to emulate, a console probably isn't the best option. I personally think it would be really cool if the NX came with some kind of emulator to allow people to play old N64 games. The Nintendo 64 is still one of my favorite consoles to date, and I spent a large portion of my childhood slaying Zelda games and perfecting my skills in all of the Pokemon Coliseum Mini-Games. Either way, the app is no longer available, and if you own it already then keep up grinding.
