For the third month in a row, Microsoft has outsold Sony. For July, August, and September, Xbox has reigned supreme. The Xbox One sales have been better for a quarter of a year now, despite Sony's attempts at improving the PS4. Microsoft is extremely pleased with the recent sales, and a lot of that is due to the price drop of the Xbox One.

Personally, I prefer Xbox over Playstation and I always have. I had both systems growing up and always seemed to gravitate more toward my Xbox. I'm glad that Microsoft is seeing some changes. In the grand scheme of things, Sony is still winning in overall sales. The spike they had at the launch of the PS4 and the continued months of beating out Microsoft have left them in a very good spot.

Microsoft is showing that they can build an amazing console and win over the hearts of gamers too. There has also been a ton of talk surround Sony challenging PC gaming. While I don't think they're going to knock out any PC gamers, the hold they had over Microsoft seems to be getting weaker and weaker each month.
