So if you haven't heard the many rumors flying around about a Halo Movie then this might be news to you... Or maybe not news in that Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner) was developing a big screen edition of Halo. Well, Microsoft has responded to these recent rumors! Read more below...

"The Halo franchise encompasses many elements, including games, action figures, novels and more. As always, we have many projects in the works that offer us the opportunity to bring in new audiences to the franchise, as we did in the past with Halo Legends and Halo: Forward Unto Dawn. We plan to continue telling the Halo story through innovative channels, but there are no plans for a Halo motion picture at this time."

Well there you have it. Straight from the horses mouth that there won't be a Halo movie, at least not anytime soon we'd guess. So what are your thoughts? Should there be a Halo movie or should we all wait and see how the upcoming Halo TV series turns out?
