Microsoft Dedicated to 4k Gaming

It's going to be a long-term commitment.

Microsoft, the company that's not making either Pokemon Go or Overwatch, so it might as well not exist, made an announcement a few weeks ago about their latest and easily most powerful console to date, the Xbox Scorpio, which has gotten a whole lot of nowhere very fast because, again, Overwatch and Pokemon Go. The internet might be the biggest hub of collective human knowledge ever amassed, yet we've got all the focus of a squirrel with OCD.

Regardless, the Scorpio is still a thing. And recently, during a TRX Podcast interview, Head of Xbox Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg took the time to explain that this was part of a bigger movement within Microsoft to commit to the enhanced graphics provided by 4k monitors, which are the future of displays, apparently.

So that's cool. It's been drawn to my attention that 4k monitors aren't ultimately too expensive, so if the commoner still wants to experience this "beast"of a console, they have the opportunity, but still, for those of us who'd need a new... everything to try out the Scorpio, it still might prove to be prohibitive to experience the gaming world that Aaron Greenberg describes. Still, exciting for people who are indeed that dedicated.

Let's see what difference 4k can make, shall we?
