Microsoft Accused of Using Teenage Slave Labor in China

Micorsoft has recently been accused of using slave labor in a Chinese factor that makes xbox controllers and mice. I can't say I'm that suprised by this. Although I think it might have more to do with whoever runs the factory attempting to get the cheapest labor possible while Microsoft is unaware. But Microsoft should be "more" aware of such things since they are a more common occurance over there it would seem.

Below are some quotes from the Telegraph.co.uk article:

Managers at the KYE Systems factory in Dongguan, southern China, were accused of controlling and bullying workers who sleep 14 to a room and "shower" by taking sponge baths from a small plastic bucket of water.

"In the summer, temperatures can exceed 86 degrees and workers leave their shifts dripping in sweat.

"It is only when the foreign clients show up that management turns on the air conditioning," the report's authors alleged, citing testimony from workers.
