As the E3 2014 press conferences are looming ever closer in the next few hours, it is inevitable some things are going to slip early. This year we've actually had a pretty unprecedented amount of pre-E3 leaks and early announcements... having already seen big games like Battlefield Hardline a week early.
This year's trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is now doing the rounds on Youtube. It is a 5 1/2 minute story trailer that doesn't show off any new gameplay and actually gives away quite a bit of the plot for the story. I would suggest if you've already seen the much better E3 reveal trailer from last year and plan on getting the game... maybe skip this one. Also in typical Hideo Kojima fashion, a release date for the game was teased as 1984... which not surprisingly means the actual release is still multiple years away. So I'll probably being doing this again next year with the E3 2015 trailer that has a real release date in it.
EDIT- replaced with official video
