Try singing this to the tune of Teenage Super Ninja Turtles:

Super Mayan Death Robots,
Super Mayan Death Robots,
Super Mayan Death Robots,
Robots in PvP
Robot Power!

Okay, that was completely lame, though still fun to put together.

Mayan Death Robots, featured in a previous GZU article, is finally battling its way onto the Steam platform November 20, though console releases will soon follow. In case you need a refresher, Mayan Death Robots is a beautifully-created PvP turn-based artillery game centering on killer alien robots that traveled to Earth in pursuit of making a TV show, waking the gods, and fighting off Spanish conquistadors.

Featuring one-on-one versus battles with AI or local human opponents, Mayan Death Robots offers constant action with plenty of artillery to destroy your opponent. Each player picks a robot and enters the arena with the intent on destroying the opponent's power core. Facing a timer, you have one of two choices: play a stalwart defense, or strike hard and fast in hopes of destroying your opponent's core before vice versa happens!

According to Karel Crombecq, code shepherd at Sileni Studios:

"Those Maya had some pretty wild stories, but this one's true: our game is coming out this November, and in great shape. I'm super proud of what me and Erwin have done with Mayan Death Robots, and so far a lot of other people say they like it too. Not too long to go and we'll know if they're telling the truth too!"

So mark your calendars for November 20, because that's when you can expect this Mayan prediction to come true! However, do expect these robots to make an appearance at this year's EGX, held September 24-27.
