Matthew Trivett, the popular Counter-Strike: Global Offensive commentator with the handle "Sadokist," has been suspended from Twitch after using racist language during a livestream, and for telling a community member to commit suicide.
During a livestream last Friday night, Trivett said the N-word while taunting his friend. While the stream recording has since been removed, a clip of the occasion was recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
At a later point in the stream, Trivett also told community member Don Haci to kill themselves. He ended the remark stating that it "would be better for everyone." Don Haci later posted a video of that moment on Twitter.
Trivett is a big character in CS: GO tournaments, having provided commentation for major events. Tournament organizers might opt for different, less controversial commentators for future events. He had also remarked on the suspension of Overwatch player Félix xQc Lengyel, stating he was "disgusted" by xQc's behavior in a now-deleted tweet.
The hard R really doesn't help the situation, either.
