With the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch, we've learned quite a bit about the new console. However, aside from some pretty standard Nintendo titles, we don't really know what's going to be available for play on the machine. I mean, Skyrim was showcased in Nintendo's announcement video, but Bethesda won't even confirm that a Switch version is being released. So let's put away what might be coming out and talk about one game that won't be on the Switch.
When responding to fans on Twitter, Mass Effect Producer Michael Gamble said that the plan is to only release Mass Effect: Andromeda for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. When another fan asked if the game might come out for the Switch eventually, Gamble said that he can only speak for current plans and he doesn't know what the future may hold. Extremely vague. To me that basically means, "If the Nintendo Switch sucks, we're not going to put the effort in. If it sells a lot of copies, we're probably going to look into it." So Mass Effect: Andromeda definitely won't be available on the Switch when it comes out, but it might possibly come out in the distant or near future, maybe.
