Well, it's a little past N7 day, but there's some new Mass Effect news that the people need to hear about. Unlike the previous three games, it looks like players will have a brand new choice system lined up for Mass Effect Andromeda. The series used to have Paragon and Renegade choices to help shape your character. Much like the Fable series, these choices would sway your character to be either good or evil in the eyes of others. With the new system, players won't have to choose from such a black and white system. You can answer based on head, heart, professional, and casual, which gives a general sense of either "good" or "evil" but doesn't exactly spell it out for you.

A system like this allows the player to develop more dynamically. Maybe you're a straight-shooter with some of the crew members, but speak casually with your allies. Perhaps you decide to be a gentle soul and speak only from your heart. The player will now have much more control over relationships, the character they want to become, and general storyline progression. It's nice to see a new system being put into play, seeing as how you'll be in a completely new area as a brand new protagonist.

In Mass Effect Andromeda, you wake up in a brand new star system and take over the life of Ryder. Ryder has been in cryosleep for the last 600 years and wakes up to find out that they're the Pathfinder. There are also plenty of bad guys around that want you dead. By teaming up with brand new characters, you're going to be taking down the enemy and making some interesting dialogue choices throughout the campaign. The game is set to release in Spring of 2017, so make sure you have your copy of Andromeda ready!
