Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out next week, and while previously I described the mood surrounding the game as "hyped," it seems fans who got their paws on the game early via EA Access are less than impressed with their first ten hours with the game. Perhaps they'd be more impressed by the 1,200 characters if any of them were animated well or had believable features. So things are looking to have taken a slight downturn, but until we can see the full game in action and get some solid reviews from all invested parties, I'm still fairly confident saying that people are excited for the fourth game in the former trilogy.

Besides, wonky dialogue and facial expressions don't mean much if you're playing the multiplayer mode, and if you are the type who prefers the game's co-op mode, then I have great news: you can now manage your profile, weapons, characters, and more even when you're not in front of your gaming device of choice, thanks to a new companion app that Bioware will be releasing worldwide on the 20th of March.

The app, APEX HQ, helps you navigate your multiplayer profile and get things ready so you can jump straight into combat the moment you get a chance. According to the detailed announcement page:

"Check in with Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer anytime, anywhere using the APEX HQ companion app. Change your loadout ahead of a match, command strike teams on-the-go, and stay up to date with all the latest multiplayer news, missions and progression."

You can check out the page itself for more details, but it basically keeps things neat and orderly from your phone. Which is great, if... kind of silly.

But hey, it's free, so who's complaining?
