How do you express your love for the upcoming DOOM? Why, there are many ways. You can build a clay model, you could write a poem, you could write to the developers thanking them... Or you could go all out and carve a Revenant out of wood.
An 8-foot tall sculpture. Yup. An 8-foot sculpture. Taller than most people. Bethesda collaborated with Australian chainsaw carver Rob Bast. The project itself was a painstaking labor of love, taking 150 hours to complete. The sculpture is currently being displayed at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image located in Federation Square in Melbourne. The entry fee is completely free, and it will be in the Lightwell section until May 24. Doom releases tomorrow, May 13, 2016, though the game was accidentally released a few days earlier.
That actually is trending, isn't it? The same thing happened to Uncharted 4, as well as a couple of other games. Maybe it is intentional?
Anyway, you should check out a couple of videos regarding DOOM, and we also offer some more information about it, so if you'd like you can take the time to read them. And if you'd like to view the entire gallery, you can click on the link regarding the Bethesda collaboration.
