In a movement to celebrate the release of Monster Hunter: World, Capcom has just released the first episode in a series that shows the fans how they made such a game possible. These videos will be released weekly to highlight other aspects of the game and the challenges the team faced.

The first episode in the series features exclusive behind the scenes interviews with the Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Art Director Kaname Fujioka and Director Yuya Tokuda. This episode brings to life how the project began and the vision they had to incorporate modern console technology to bring this fantastical Monster Hunter: World to your living room. There are also secrets coming in future episodes, such as an exclusive look into the sound design and motion capture used to create an immersive world.

Monster Hunter World will be released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, and a PC version is arriving in the Fall. To tide you over for the next two days, here is the first episode of the documentary series:
