Major Kingdom Hearts 3 Leak Emerges

A fairly significant leak has sprouted out of the woodwork recently pertaining to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3.

An Imgur album has been circulating online containing 13 images of supposed gameplay of the in-development game. With all leaks, the main question is: is it legitimate? While there isn't any confirmation towards if they are real, a fair number of things point towards it.

With a planned release of 2018, the quality of the game in the screenshots is about on par with where one would expect development to be. A recent tech demo for the Unreal engine, the engine being used for this game, and all of the technical information on screen further reinforce the legitimacy of the images. The Occam's Razor of this is simply how good the images look. If these are indeed fake, then they are extremely well-made fakes.

Kingdom Hearts 2 released 12 years ago, and while there have been seven variations of the series since, Kingdom Hearts 3 has been in strong demand. We've been teased about it for years, seeing Sora in the Toy Story universe, for example.
