I love the sound of "free."

With the football season well underway, Madden 17 has been out for quite some time now. For those of you that haven't picked it up, this may be the chance to try it out. Until Monday, October 10th, Madden 17 is completely free to download on your Xbox One and PS4.

If you hate playing demos, you don't have to worry. This isn't a free demo that's available to you, it's the full game. That's right. Every single feature that's available in the full version of Madden 17 is completely free until October 10th. Even if you have no intention of buying the game after this weekend it over, you may as well get something for free for a little while.

I've recently fallen off of the Madden train. I played every year until about Madden 25, and then called it quits. With no intention of buying Madden 17 next week, I'm trying out the free weekend and seeing if it can draw me back in. From the videos I've seen of the game, it looks very solid and a lot of people have had good things to say about it. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint, and even if it does, it's free.
