Halo 5: Guardians--boasting a long, in-depth campaign, intensified multiplayer, and more betrayal than one can shake a stick at--is just over the horizon, peering at an October 27 Xbox One-exclusive release. The Halo 5 beta has recently received an update that contains an ominous, beautiful theme--composed by Kazuma Jinnouchi--that is extremely reminiscent of the Halo franchise. Jinnouchi succeeds in capturing a similar tone that former Halo composer Martin O'Donnell established throughout the series. The theme has been since extracted and posted on YouTube, so please take a while to sit back, relax, and lose yourself in this emotional, non-lyrical tale.
Halo 5: Guardians is set for launch October 27 for the Xbox One. You can currently pre-order on Amazon, though there was a Newegg Limited Edition special, which cost $74.99 (MSRP $120) for Canadians. Unfortunately, the edition has since sold out.
Even if you missed out on the special, has the music pushed you into the hype train yet?
It sure has for me.
If you want more fuel for the hype fire, then please, feel free to check out these high resolution images of Halo 5: Guardians. Boy, do they look pretty.
