Little Nightmares has Players Terrified

It's really weird, but I like that.

Little Nightmares just recently came out on all major platforms, and it has been scaring people silly ever since. It's really easy to wonder why people would be so scared of a cute little game like this. The fact of the matter is, it might be the "cute" aspects that make this game so terrifying in the first place. Starting with the main character, you play as a little girl named Six who is insanely small. I mean, she's like the size of a cardboard box and wears a little yellow raincoat.

The game also doesn't contain a lot of background music. It's basically just the sound of your little rainboots tapping against the ground while you wiggle your way through the platformer. This adds a ton of suspense, like in any horror game, and can make even simple things a bit unnerving. Mix that with some of the creepiest looking monsters you've ever seen, and now you've got yourself a horror game.

I mean, the enemies aren't like "oh my god, that's so scary," but they just look different. They look like something is a bit off, and that might be the scariest thing in the world to some people. It's very creepy when you have a dream, see a movie, or play a game where the people just seem like there's something wrong. Whether something is disproportional, or a body part is positioned a little differently, it just creeps you out a little bit. The game has been receiving incredible reviews and people are really loving how the game plays. If you haven't heard of it and wanna check it out, take a look at the trailer down below!
