Lineage II Continues its Legacy with Infinite Odyssey

Remember Lineage II? The F2P MMO released in April of 2004 (in North America)? Well, the game has led a strong legacy, as it has continued into present day. It must be going strong, for NCSOFT has announced the next content expansion - Infinite Odyssey - due for release this spring.

I admit to thinking of a cross between Infinite Undiscovery and Lost Odyssey upon hearing the title. Either way, players can expect new hunting zones, a new raid boss, new story, and new skills from this expansion.

The story?

The heroes of the world have allied with Ertheia, the latest race to join in the war of defending Aden. Despite the ray of hope, the forces may not be enough to dominate the threat before them.

NCSOFT will introduce an additional contest, titled the Name that Skill Contest, where players will have a chance to help name five of the new skills featured in the new expansion. The contest will run from March 12th until March 31st, with the winners being announced April 7th. The rewards for winning the contest?

Well, besides seeing your own suggested name used for a skill.

The winners will receive one Ancient Scroll: Enchant Weapon (R-Grade) and one Sealed Talisman of Longing.
