If you’ve ever looked at Mario and thought, “Yeah his games are fun and he can jump okay, but it’s really his fashion sense that makes him iconic,” then I have good news for you. Thanks to a new partnership between Levi’s and Nintendo, you can now buy Mario’s overalls for yourself. Kind of.

Here’s the deal: Levi’s, who often works with popular IP’s and companies, has released a number of Super Mario themed clothing. You know, jackets, shorts, shirts, all covered in residents of the Mushroom Kingdom. The kind of stuff you’d expect to find at a hot topic.

They look like crap.

The only reason this got my attention was 1) it was a nice break from the COVID-19 mess, and 2) the highlight of this new line appears to be a pair of overalls (which I’m pretty sure isn’t typically ‘hip’ with the kids) that are both designed off Mario’s design, but also include some coins coming out of the back pocket, which is both a nerdy way to get people to look at your butt and apparently the canonical place that Mario stores his own coins. Which would explain why Wario is so thick, at least.

You can buy them if you want but the release date is still TBA.
