Lego Dimensions has stayed pretty current with its updates. Typically, it sticks to adding more game worlds and characters from other franchises. Now, though, they've focused on something a little more original. WB Games recently showed off a trailer featuring its new Battle Arenas. These arenas exist for a fully multiplayer experience. Four players compete in varying game modes and maps to be, umm, top lego (or something). Check out the trailer below.

The game modes include Capture the Flag, Objective, Base Bash, and Tick, Tag, Boom! Each game and map comes with its own set of quirks in the form of traps, defensive structures, and unique powers. And depending on the game, there are options for free-for-all, 2 v 2, and 3 v 1 play. And if you find yourself without any friends to play with, there is a system of AI you can fight against. And yes, it seems you can pick pretty much any available Lego minifig you want.
