Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at The Game Awards 2016

Nintendo's making headlines as of late, huh?

While Nintendo might have gotten a lot of attention with the Switch (formerly the NX) over the past few weeks, all eyes were originally on it because of the reveal of the next big Legend of Zelda title, Breath of the Wild. The game, for lack of a better term, looks extremely good, and Nintendo used this year’s E3 to really let loose and show off all the astonishing features the game promises to have while still keeping tight-lipped about the other intriguing details of the game, such as plot. But while we know a lot about this new sci-fi survival Zelda game (you’ll need to eat! Wear clothes! Make weapons!), there are insatiable appetites out there who want even more.

Well, Nintendo’s got you covered, fellas: all you have to do is tune into the Game Awards stream on the first of December, and you’ll get to see an exclusive new look at Nintendo’s latest masterpiece.

That’s this Thursday. How neat!

Seems this year’s Game Awards is set to be a record-breaking one. Between this, a post-humorous award for Metal Gear Solid V’s neglected creator, and even a little bit of controversy brewing around the best "fan game" prize, there’s going to be a lot to talk about when it finally happens, I wager.

We’ll have to find out.
