Yesterday marked a sad day for the free-to-play MMO Nosgoth, which is the Legacy of Kain spinoff. According to the official Nosgoth topic titled, "A Farewell to Arms - Nosgoth's Final Days are Upon Us":

"It is with regret that today we can confirm that the development for Nosgoth has officially ceased and we are winding down support for the game.

Between now and 31st May 2016 Nosgoth will remain available to play, after which the game will go offline.

On behalf of the entire Nosgoth team we want to thank the community for all their feedback, support and dedication to the game during the closed and open beta phases. It's been a pleasure to build this game with your help, but ultimately its audience hasn't grown enough to sustain ongoing operations."

Nosgoth originally went open beta back in January 2015, but it just so happens that there just wasn't a large enough audience for this. Ah well, MMOs unfortunately come and go. That's just how the world works.
