Back in October, a Twitter account had surfaced called LastIdea_rpg. It claimed to be a new game by Square Enix. It wasn't until a month later when a trademark for the same game title had been registered by the actual company did it actually look legitimate.
Only just recently has the account seen any activity, however. They posted a tweet last Wednesday, simply reiterating what was already said on their Bio.
"SQUARE ENIXs new game『LAST IDEA ラストイデア』official Verified account."
Interestingly enough, it says verified, but it lacks the blue checkmark that indicates such. This may just be preemptive, stating it before they actually verify themselves through the platform.
There is one noteworthy aspect to the account. Their single post has been retweeted by an artist known as Wind, who happens to be the only graphic artist the account follows. They're known in the industry as a common contact for mobile games from folks like Capcom, and even Square Enix themselves. Many have taken this to mean that Wind is returning to work on Last Idea. It's also possible that they're just a fan, and wanted to share the information. Their inclusion couldn't be confirmed at this time.
With the success of Nintendo's mobile IP Dragalia Lost, it's no surprise that Square Enix would want to create a new franchise for the same platform. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
