Lady Gaga Allegedly Collaborating with Cyberpunk 2077 Development

Cyberpunk 2077, the upcoming sci-fi RPG by CD Projekt Red, is an almost otherworldly take on the world as we know it. But according to recent reports, there will still be a touch of familiarity. Musical artist Lady Gaga is said to be involved in the game's development.

The report comes from French game site actugaming.net, who claims that sources close to the studio have confirmed a collaboration between the artist and the game's development team. They were unable to say what the exact nature of this collaboration will be. But they were able to claim that the game's release date will be revealed at E3 2019, where Gaga's participation will be revealed.

This isn't the first time Gaga was rumored to be involved in Cyberpunk 2077. Back in 2012, the artist had posted strange gibberish on Twitter.

Not long ago, the official Cyberpunk 2077 account responded.

"Of course! Of course we will! "

Some had taken the nonsense tweets as a joke, comparing it to old fax machines and dial-up modems. This would also track with the game's technological theming. Whether this is the beginning of their secret marketing plan or just some social media managers fooling around remains unsaid.

I'd love to be able to visit a Lady Gaga concert in-game. The advanced technology and gritty street style would make for a good show. Maybe she'll even be an interactable NPC. We'll know for sure this June, when E3 2019 kicks off.
